Becky is newer to real estate, however her commitment to excellence and integrity have been the mainstays of her career.
Becky studied Art and English literature at Swarthmore College, where she graduated at the top of her class, becoming a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and a Mellon Mays Fellow. After college, Becky had the opportunity to live and study abroad. The Watson Fellowship (2005-2006) took her to Mexico City, Paris and Rome following the travels of painter Diego Rivera. The Drawing Year (2007-2008) allowed her to study traditional drawing and painting at the Royal Drawing School in Shoreditch, London. Becky returned to California for her graduate studies, accepting a full-ride scholarship at UCSD, completing her MFA in Visual Arts.
Becky decided to get her real estate license in the hopes that a career in real estate can one day support her artistic pursuits. Her first year in real estate was spent working in Salinas, where she held Open Houses nearly every weekend. This was ultimately how she crossed paths with Malone Hodges & Associates, after she volunteered to hold Open Houses on one of our listings. Her tenacity caught our eye, and we invited her to join our team!
Outside of real estate and art, Becky teaches Zumba three times a week at the Salinas YMCA, not only because she is passionate about the health benefits of art, but as a way to serve her community.
